FHE Activity

Last Monday Zack and I okay mostly Zack, planted trees in our front flower bed. We are so excited to see how fast they will grow.

Our little forest

We found this small tree growing in our flower bed about 2 1/2 weeks ago. It had been growing about two months and we weren't sure what it was until Zack dug it up. It is a WALNUT TREE! We did not plant it. A walnut had been tilled into the ground a few months ago, maybe it had been there longer but this was the result. We transplanted the tree and now it is in a 5 gallon bucket at Zack's parent's house until we can plant it somewhere. Zack is thinking we should keep transplanting it to bigger buckets until we find a house ourselves.

Family Night & Pineview

Zack and I went up to Pineview last night for family night. We love to go swimming and thought that it would be fun. We drove up there and the afternoon winds were picking up and making the lake really choppy. The lake is really high and we went to the free beach but it there really was not a beach. I am sure it will come later this summer. We brought our swimming clothes but did not change. I walked in a bit and tried not to get to wet but the waves had other plans...

Family!

Ben and Bekah came to spend the night with Zack and I on Sunday night. We had so much fun with them. We decided to play with some water balloons and as soon as their parents came to get them they jumped out started a water fight.

Congratulations Robert

Robert graduated from Syracuse High on Friday. We are so happy for him. First graduating class of Syracuse High. Way to go Bud!

Weekend Getaway!

Zack and I spent Friday night and Saturday at Bear Lake. It was so nice to get away and enjoy one of out favorite places. Saturday some of my siblings came up to play with us and we had a blast. We played in the sand, played bocce ball, went snorkeling and just hung out. Then went to our house and played an awesome game of croquet-half of it in the dark, and talked all night. Thanks for coming with us we loved hanging out with you guys! We hope to do it again real soon!

Zack also let us bury him. He turned into a mermaid. But first was just a giant fish.... bad calculations on our part.
