Ye Haw~

Last night Zack and I went to the Tough Enough to Wear Pink Night for the Ogden Pioneer Days Rodeo. The Ogden Pioneer Days Rodeo is one of my favorite rodeos. I have been going to the events for years, ever since my sisters starting showing horses and got involved in Junior Posse. We were both tough enough to wear PINK and had a great time.

After the rodeo events the motorcycles came out and did some crazy stunts including flips!
A new "event" this year was musical chairs cowboy style. The cowboys had to sit on their chairs while holding onto the horses then when the music started they had to jump on their horses and run to the other side and find a chair while still holding onto their horse. It was crazy to see and kind of scary but sooooo entertaining. One guy fell off and lots of people ran into each other but I do not think anyone was harmed. So fun! I hope they do it again next year!

Getting ready to start cowboy musical chairs.

Weekend Get Away

I had a Saturday off and decided to was time to get away just the two of us so we headed to one of our favorite places Bear Lake. We left Saturday morning and had such a great time. we spent some time at the Lake, drove all around into Idaho and found some super cute towns with lots of old architecture and old billboards and even stooped to indulge ourselves with a few scratch tickets.

Our guilty pleasure but we did win some money, we just traded it for more scratch tickets
And a new favorite game Zilch, Zack had a 4900 point roll with no carry over points. He was playing well last night.
Zack's new hat to help keep the sun off his head, face and neck. What a stud!
It was such a great trip we can't wait to go back again and hang out!

I wanna be like Uncle Zacky!

Sorry I can't get the picture to flip correctly but Amy and Mikey's girls went to church with everyone a few weeks ago and Paula brought her red Converse to match Uncle Zacky's. It was so cute!

Mmmmm Lobster

Zack and I saw some Lobster Tails on sale so we decided to get some and try it. We looked for some recipes and then Zack boiled it and made a garlic butter sauce to dip it in. Overall consensus it was pretty good!

Ludlow Family Olympics

Zack and I decided to plan a reunion for his family this year because I had what I thought was a super fun idea. We decided to host the Ludlow Family Olympics as the reunion this year. We went to Coalville to camp and ended up with a perfect spot with lots of grass for the activities. We did everything from making our own family flags, swimming, having a talent show and of course some games. Mikey was running in the Ragnar during the reunion and one of his legs was in Heber so we headed up there to support him. The best part was Roscoe yelling to Mikey "I've missed you Daddy!" It was so cute and we are so proud of you Mikey!

Jake was so cute, we are so glad that Shane and Jessica were able to come and play with us. Zack and I are very partial to his clothing choice for the day of the games!
Two of the cutest little girls ever, Paula and Charley were so cute running around together.

Let the Games Begin.....
Brunson's vs. Parker's
I think Zack is trying to give Charley some insider advice!
The Smith Family on the 2x4 race. The Smith's were the Orange Team. Each family had their own color and bandanna to match.
Dad and Mom Ludlow and Parker's getting ready to race. They were both very efficient at this race.
We even had special visitors come to participate.
The Talent Show, Roscoe told jokes...he is such a cutie!
All the flags, each family made their own then we had a family flag with all our hand prints and the babies footprints.
From left to right, Smith, Mom & Dad Ludlow, Family Flag, Mine and Zack's, Parker's and Brunson's
Zack sporting our family color and bandanna!
Zack brought his bike and it was a big hit and great for bathroom transportation, if the little kiddos all did not need to go. Jenelle and Charley going for a ride.
Thanks to everyone for helping us make this reunion so much fun. We are so glad for all of your help and sacrifices to come and be with the family. We can't wait for the next one!
