Temple Square

While I was off Zack and I rode the train to Salt Lake to go see the lights at Temple Square. It was so much fun. He encouraged me to get my ed pass, so I got it and we were able to ride for free, even better! It was a great night, cold but good. We walked around Temple Square then headed over to Gateway to check out some stores then back to catch the train.
Please ignore how goofy I look in that hat. :)
I love this picture, I am so glad that it turned out! :)

Gingerbread Houses

I had some time off work and one thing that I did was make gingerbread houses with my family. It was so much fun. Jessi and I made gingerbread the day before. It was such a fun night.

My house, the walls aren't quite right but it was still fun!
Zack mostly made this one, thus the reason it looks so good.

Krystal and Lance's house.

David and Shany's house.

Mat and Jessie's house.

My mom also came and worked on some Christmas stuff, such a great way to spend the holidays, with family and having fun.

Baby Hali

On November 14th Chris and Jenelle's new little angel came into the world, Hali Faith. She is so precious. She has gotten so big in the last few weeks and is so cute. I only got a few pictures Sunday because she was not very happy at the moment. Congratulations Chris and Jenelle!

Long time no Post

Warning this will be a blog overload

So much has happened since the last time I posted. Zack and I have moved, almost finished a semester, had a brother get married, a sister and brother in law get sealed, got a new niece, and new callings. Oh and hosted Thanksgiving. First off the move. We are now living with Zack's parents in the play room. So far so good. It is nice not to have the stress of cooking and having to clean the house, (now if I could just get the energy to clean and organize our room). It will be a nice way to focus on school. I am cutting my hours at work in January so the move has perfect timing. Second my little brother got married October 17th. It was such a fun day. The wedding and reception was so David and Shany, they even had a wanted poster you could pose in. We are so excited to have Shany in our family, and think she is a great addition. They are so cute together. Then about a month later my little sister Jessi and her husband Mat were sealed. It was such a great day and we are so excited and happy for them. They were sealed in the same room that Zack and I were sealed in, so much fun! Jenelle and Chris got a new addition to their family, Hali Faith Parker. She is so sweet, I don't have any pictures of her, but I do have a picture of Charley and Zack playing when she spend the night while Jenelle was at the hospital. Hali is so cute and I can't wait to see her again, just have to get rid of the cough. Zack's little brother Mark also graduated from basic training last week. His mom and dad and Robert and Elizabeth went to his graduation and spent Thanksgiving with him. We are so happy for you Mark and hope that you are having a great time. While Zack's parents were gone we hosted Thanksgiving with my family. I don't know if I can really say that I hosted though, since my mom made the turkey. It was such a nice day to spend with family just hanging out. Since the move we also got new callings Zack and I are the men's and women's sports directors for our ward. It should be fun! Well now we just have to finish the semester, about a week left, then I have a week and a half off work then Christmas, this year has flown by.

I love to see the Temple.

Oh we also went to a Murder Mystery/Masquerade Ball at my Aunt Laura's it was so much fun!
I love my mask!

My stud, willing, or maybe not so willingly striking a pose.

This is what happens when you move and pack the kitchen first. No cups!

David and Shany's wedding, the Honeymoon Dance. Zack and David enjoying a nice dance :)

Mother Son Dance

The Honeymoon Basket, one of our traditions. A sibling gift, we put the basket in the car instead of decorating their car. Then they can leave right away and have all the basic necessities for the honeymoon.

A pre-wedding day photo. Shany's got David right where she wants him already.

The wanted sign at the reception. Ben and Jeb.

Golf

Mike and Amy invited us to go golfing so we made it a double date. I had never been golfing before, besides miniature golf and I had a horrible score. Lucky for me Amy and Mike said that they first time you go you don't have to keep score, so I didn't. We played 9 holes at Eagle Lakes in Roy, but Zack and I only got through 7 because of time. I learned that I don't hate golf, but I definitely don't like it as much as Zack. Thanks for the double date guys!! We love hanging out with you!

My ball, Zack said I only got one so don't lose it. Good think I didn't.
I can also admit I took the picture so I could remember which ball was mine.

San Diego

For the last day of our visit to California we went to a La Jolla Cove in San Diego to go snorkeling. The tide was so high and the waves were HUGE and breaking pretty close to shore. I still went out snorkeling for a little bit with Zack even though we got knocked around quite a bit by the waves. We saw some fish but the water was really cloudy that day and visibility was low. We still had a great time and have the sunburns to prove it.

As a nice surprise Jessica and Shane stopped to show us the Rootbeer store they stop at when going to San Diego. The store has random hours so we were glad to find it open, they have all different flavors and brands of rootbeer and other sodas. It was a fun place to stop we got 5 different flavors and really liked the Route 66 rootbeer and the Dr. Browns Black Cherry soda.

Me at the La Jolla Cove, just to my right was a sea lion, hanging out on the rocks.

We had such a fun vacation, and now it is back to school. School started yesterday and we are starting to get busy, so I am expecting less posts and more homework.

California Adventure

For our second day of the Birthday and Anniversary Surprise we spent most of our time at California Adventure. It was a lot of fun! We have a new favorite ride, I was so nervous for it but it was a ton of fun....

Once upon a time there was a girl, who really like, well love this guy named Zack, they got married then one year she thought... I should surprise him and take him somewhere fun for his birthday.....
So she did and away to Disneyland they went...

They had a ton of fun, made lots of memories.....

Yep and they lived happily ever after!

So this is our new favorite ride.
TOWER OF TERROR
I was so nervous to go on it, but once I rode it, I loved it. I like it better than the rocket, mostly because I don't like being strapped in to much. But you get lifted out of the seat some. On the second ride I sat more in the middle and I came out of my seat a few inches
(it felt like 6 but it probably was not.)

This picture is for Lance and Roscoe

Walking down Hollywood

The scariest ride ever....
Yes I know I look lovely.
It was a little kid ride in It's a Bug's Life, the caterpillar ride.

Waiting for the fireworks to start. I loved them.! I loved how they were timed to some of my favorite Disney songs!

After the fireworks they shoot out confetti shaped like Mickey Mouse.

Great End to a few days at the Happiest Place on Earth, to celebrate some of my happiest days.

Leaving California Adventure
Sorry about the random order

Zack's Big Birthday Surprise Day 1

Zack's 26th Birthday was yesterday and I had some time off work so I started to think of something fun to do. We are also on break from school until Monday, so fun was a must! Disneyland's get in free on your birthday seemed like the perfect getaway! So I tried to keep it a surprise Zack got time off work, I tried to do that without him, but it did not work to well, and we drove through the night Tuesday to make it to Southern Cali. (Thanks for putting us up Jessica and Shane!) Wednesday we went to Disneyland, tired but we went and had a GREAT TIME!
Happy Birthday Zack, hope it was the "happiest" yet!
Welcome to Disneyland!

Yep that's right it's my hunny's birthday. Everywhere we went people would tell Zack Happy Birthday, when he was wearing the pin, and not me! :)

WoHoo we made it and are excited!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Zack's ultimate favorite theme park food, Churros! He wanted 3 for each hand but settled for 1 1/2, his and half of mine!

My favorite picture so far, on the train, we were killing some time till our fast pass was usable.

Here's my Prince Charming!

The aftermath of Splash Mountain, front row baby!

We look super good in our 3D glasses, our next career will be models for 3D glasses, the contract is signed and ready! ")

Where is our next adventure going to be.... we'll just say it will be Californian, a...
