Warren's First Birthday

I cannot believe my little boy is one. The time has gone so quickly. He is such a fun little guy and Zack and I love having him around. He is walking and has been since about 10 months, he says and signs more, and loves to say DaDa, and will sometimes say MaMa, mostly when he is upset. It seems like he understands so much of what we say, and often will babble what sounds like an actual response to our questions. He is very inquisitive and such a joy in our lives. Happy 1st Birthday Warren. He got to celebrate his birthday the same day that I graduated so it was a long but fun day. I wanted to have a sock monkey theme and there were traces of monkeys at his party starting with his cake that Zack's cousin Erin made. We loved it. It was so cute and really yummy too, even if Warren did not eat a lot of it. We left it in the fridge until right before, so it was a little cold for him.
I just love this picture of Warren. He loved his balloons, especially the 32" balloon.
Happy  Birthday to my BIRTHDAY BOY!
Side shot of Warren's cake.
Warren's sock monkey cake.
The banner Aunt Jenelle made for Warren's birthday.
Thanks we love it.

The birthday boy himself, he even had a monkey on his romper.

Balloons, presents and a pinata-a sock monkey pinata.
The puppet theater my mom made for the occasion.
Roscoe even put on a show for us, dinner and a show-for FREE!
Thanks Roscoe.

MMMMM CAKE, and it's all MINE!

Warren sporting his new shades from Uncle Lance and Aunt Krystal.
I really like the balloons in the background.

Warren with his loot. He was so spoiled.
Thank you to everyone who came, you were very generous. We love you all!

The kids with the pinata. It was a pull string pinata,
so I did not mind holding it and even the little ones could get in on the action.

The race for candy begins.

Give me some candy and I am a happy baby.

Michaela helped Warren get his own stash of candy.
Where did Warren go?

There he is.
Warren's first year in pictures. I had so much fun putting these pictures together to make a 1 and even more so  I loved reminiscing  as I looked at all the pictures of his first year.

We had so much fun at his party and are so thankful for everyone who could come and who helped out. What a year it is has been. We have loved it and are looking forward to many more fun, adventurous years to come. We love you Warren.

When Warren was born he weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces and was 21 inches long on his birthday he was about 24 pounds (I think) and maybe 30 inches long. Boy has he grown.
