There are Churches and Cathedrals all over New York City, and some really famous ones too (but I can't remember their names, I can't even remember which Churches these ones below are.) There were quite a few close by the branch, one of my favorite ones was just the next avenue over, I saw it the last day I was there sad I know.
This Church had the prettiest red doors, unfortunately when I walked by there was also bars over them and people sitting in front of them, so I did not get a picture.

This Cathedral is on 5th Avenue,it was raining super hard so I just snapped a quick picture and kept walking. It might have been St Pete's I can't remember. There were a bunch of people hiding under the scaffolding to try and get out of the rain.

This Cathedral was gorgeous. I could not get a whole picture of it. It was HUGE! I walked to it on my lunch break but did not have much time so I only saw the front and some of the Children's Statue Garden next to it. When I left my taxi driver drove behind it and I could not believe the size.

I was not able to get a picture of the whole front without standing in the middle of the road while traffic, so just imagine this same thing only flopped to the other side.

I can't remember what church this was but it was not far from my hotel in midtown. It was late and their were people sleeping on the steps so I did not pause long to take a good picture. This church also had a cafe on the south side that was open during the day, it was pretty cool.

I can't believe all the architecture, it is so gorgeous. And to think that a lot of it was built so long ago is even more amazing. I wish that I would have been able to go in these buildings and walk around them so more. Their beauty is astonishing.

Looks like you had a great time. I wish I could have made it up there.
How pretty, I'm glad you got to go looks like you had fun.
I am so excited you got to go to New York City, it is one of my favorite places ever! My brother went on his mission there, I bet he could tell you which cathedral is which...
Hi Shaunna! Why were you working in New York? Is Zack there also? Was this just for your work? Or is it an internship type of thing? It looks like you are having really good time regardless! Did you see the Statue of Liberty and all the other 'tourist' things? Thanks for keeping us posted!
I was helping another branch with the conversion process. I was there alone, I wished that Zack could have come but he had school and I worked a lot. I only saw a few of the sites that were pretty close to my hotel, like Times Square, Broadway.
