We had been planning on driving to Seattle with Zack's sister Amy and her family for Charley's baptism, but the night before we were leaving Zack had an idea. My Aunt Sharon and her family had moved to Portland a few months before, and Zack suggested we borrow his mom's mini cooper and drive to Portland that night, spend the next day with my aunt then drive the Seattle. So we called his mom, my aunt, and made arrangements to go. We slept in a little so I think we gave DJ and Sharon about 16 hours notice. It was their 10th anniversary the day we arrived and they still let us tag along on their date, and paid for our dinner. We only had about 12 hours with them but, we really made the most of it, and had a great time. We ate from food trucks, visited some places near their home where some Twilight scenes were filmed, stayed up late talking, laughing, and they even sent us home with a portable DVD player for the car ride, a new shower head, and added games to my iPad for Warren. DJ and Sharon you guys are awesome and we loved being able to spend time with you. Sorry it wasn't longer, next time we will plan ahead.

| DJ surprised Zack by taking us to a place about minutes from their home where some scenes from Twilight were filmed. We even reenacted some of the scenes. They had a script you could use. It was really a fun night. |
